The staff at Brodstone Memorial Hospital Therapy Services would like to say thank you. Without the support of the wonderful community we would not be able to provide the services that we do. Most of our staff were raised here locally and have deep ties to the community. The field of medicine and therapy is rapidly changing, with research, new interventions and technology advancements. It is our sole purpose to provide the latest, best possible therapy interventions to each and every one of our patients to allow them to return to their fullest potential as soon as possible. Staff

Physical Therapy

Doug Wehrman PT, DPT – Doug has been with Brodstone Memorial Hospital's Therapy Department since June of 2010. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha in 2010. Doug grew up in Nelson and graduated from Lawrence/Nelson High School. He received his undergraduate degree at Hastings College where he majored in Biology. His hobbies include being outdoors, sports, and helping on the family farm. Doug has been credentialed as an Advanced Clinical Instructor by the APTA since June 2016.

Colby Fox PT, DPT, ATC – Colby has been employed by Brodstone since December of 2015. Prior to coming to our facility he was employed at Hastings Physical Therapy in Hastings. He is a 2010 graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, where he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Colby was born and raised in Grand Island, graduating from Grand Island Senior High in 2003. Colby received his undergraduate degree at Nebraska Wesleyan. While at Wesleyan he also became a Certified Athletic Trainer, working with many of the college's sports teams. His hobbies include running and golfing. He has been credentialed as an Advance Clinical Instructor by the APTA since June 2016.

Lisa Butler PTA, CLMT – Lisa has been employed by Brodstone since June of 2010. Lisa grew up on a farm northeast of Nelson and graduated from Nelson High School. Lisa attended Southeast Community College and then transferred to Missouri Western University in St. Joseph, MO. She graduated from there with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapist Assistant in June of 2004 and Bachelor's of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science in May of 2005. In October of 2005 she started her career in Hastings, NE at Physical Therapy and Sport Rehab until June of 2010. She has been involved in coaching High School Girl's Basketball and Track since being employed at Brodstone. In May of 2011 she got certified in Lymphedema management Therapy. She enjoys coaching and helping with her kids activities. Her hobbies are spending time with friends and family at the river/lake and running.

Occupational Therapy

David Wroughton OTR/L – David has been employed at Brodstone since 1996. He was born at Brodstone and raised in Nelson, graduating from Nelson High School. David served 10 years in the U.S. Army as an Intelligence analyst and Spanish Voice Interceptor. Following his service he attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where he received his Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy. David is certified in LSVT-Big therapist for Parkinson's Disease. His hobbies include golfing and reading.

Speech Therapy

Elinor Lynn Koester - Lynn has provided contract speech therapy services to Brodstone since 2008. She received her Masters in Speech Language Pathology from University of Nebraska in Lincoln in 1998. She became LSVT-Loud certified in January 2016. She recently retired from Educational Service Unit-9 where she provided Speech Services to pediatric patients up to 18 years of age.

Therapy Services Aide

Jacki Siebecker - Jacki has been employed with Brodstone since 2012. She worked in the Superior Family Medical Clinic Business Office prior to joining the Therapy Staff in January 2013. Jacki grew up in Littleton, Colorado and graduated from Douglas County High School. She moved to Nebraska in 2010. Jacki's hobbies include running, golfing, spending time with family and being outdoors – especially if there are mountains.
