Health Fair Blood Draws Scheduled

Annual Health Fair blood draws are scheduled for April 2, 5 and 25 at Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior.  At Nelson Family Medical Center the blood draws are scheduled for April 23.  April 4 is the date for Edgar Medical Clinic blood draws.  

The blood analysis includes chemistry profile & lipid panel, CBC & thyroid stimulating hormone, and hemoglobin A1C all for only $45, cash or check at the time of the draw.    Blood draw requires 12 hour fasting, water and prescribed medications allowed.  Do not take biotin 2 days prior.  A PSA is recommended for men ages 55 to 69 years and may be added for an additional $10.  

Health fair blood draws are by appointment only.Call for an appointment, 402-879-4781.  No additional test will be done during the health fair blood draws.  The charges cannot be submitted to your insurance, not even a wellness plan. The results will appear on your patient portal within 24 hours.  Don't have a patient portal?  We will have staff available to get you started.  If a paper copy is requested, the results will be ready for pick up at the health fair.  Results not picked up at the health fair will be mailed.

The 2019 Nuckolls County Health Fair is Saturday, April 27 at the Superior High School, 601 West 8th, 9 am to noon.  "Be Super Hero Healthy" is the theme this year.  Coloring pages will be distributed at the school.  Children may color them and bring the page to the health fair for a prize.  

The Health Fair is sponsored by Brodstone Memorial Hospital, Human Interagency Services and the Superior FFA.
