Mental Health
The Thrive Center is an outpatient program for individuals age 12 and older. It offers group and individualized treatment for those who suffer from emotional, behavioral, or mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, relationships and family problems, stress management and more.
Serving south-central Nebraska and north-central Kansas, the program provides individualized outpatient treatment Monday through Friday with patients returning to their homes each evening.
Referrals can be made by healthcare providers, nurses, social workers, yourself or others by calling 402-207-1542. Most commercial insurance is accepted.

Mental Health providers are Krista Holeman, LIMHP, LADC, Program Director, and Casey Zoltenko, Mental Health Therapist.
Krista Holeman
Krista Holeman graduated with her Master's Degree in Counseling from Doane University in Grand Island, Nebraska in 2015.
Holeman graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Peru State College in 2010. Her certifications include Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Holeman has a special interest in Geriatrics, Adolescents, Family Relationships, and Substance Use.

Casey Zoltenko
Casey Zoltenko, Mental Health Therapist, graduated with a Master's Degree in Social Work and a certificate in Animal-Assisted Social Work from the University of Denver in 2019. She has her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work and a minor in Spanish from KSU. Casey also works at Superior Public Schools as a school social worker. Her certifications include: Certified Social Worker, Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and Provisional Certification as a Master Social Worker. She has a special interest in children, adolescents and family relationships.

Erica Ferrell, A.P.R.N
Erica Ferrell, A.P.R.N., is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She sees patients at the Specialty Clinic in Superior on the first, third, and fourth Mondays of each month and the third Friday. Ferrell provides health behavioral services and medication management. Please call 402-463-7711 to make an appointment.
Craig Eaton, LIMHP
Mental Health provider, Craig Eaton, LIMHP, uses telehealth to see his patients at the Specialty Clinic in Superior. Call 402-463-7711 to make an appointment with Eaton. Telehealth technology is used to communicate with the therapist in a private room. Telehealth diagnostic and therapeutic services are available in Superior on the first and third Thursdays and the third Monday of each month.
UNL Counseling Services
UNL Counseling Services are available via telehealth at Brodstone Healthcare. Call 402-472-5035 to make an appointment with a mental health provider. Telehealth technology is used to communicate with the therapist in a private room. Telehealth diagnostic and therapeutic services are available in Superior daily, Monday through Friday.
Dr. Nicholas Basalay, M.D.
Boys Town Child & Adolescent Psychiatry has mental health services available in Superior. Dr. Nicholas Basalay, M.D., a specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, completed his residency and fellowship at Creighton University and the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Dr. Basalay is currently available, by tele-health, for appointments once a month. Tele-health is a communication setup similar to Skype or FaceTime. The patient is in a private room with the physician on a computer, one on one, real time and personalized. Dr. Basalay sees patients ages 5 to 18 years old. A parent or guardian is required at all appointments. Appointments can be made by calling the Brodstone Specialty Clinic at 402-207-1540.
